Sneaker sizes are confusing because US, UK and EU systems all differ, and brands do not always agree. This chart gives approximate conversions, with foot length in centimetres as the most reliable guide.

These are approximate and based on common Nike sizing. Other brands, and older pairs, can differ by half a size or more.
How to measure your foot
- Stand on a sheet of paper against a wall, heel touching the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
- Do this for both feet and use the longer one.
